MTAS Assessment & Day Treatment Centre staff, Patricia (Young Person’s Counsellor) and Edel (Clinical Manager) attended St. Kevin’s school to present to all the teaching staff on the 19th October. St. Kevin’s school is a wonderful and welcoming school with a staff that are exceptional. We were delighted to get the opportunity to present to the staff and Principal in relation to adolescent development , substance misuse trends and how best to support young people who present with substance misuse issues. The presentation was well received and we were thrilled to develop positive relationships with such a wonderful group of professionals.  We received excellent feedback from the event :

“Thanks a million for imparting your vast knowledge and experience when you spoke with our staff. It was a very valuable session and presentation.”

“I just wanted to thank you for coming in to St. Kevin’s to give your presentation. I just wanted to say that the feedback was overwhelmingly positive and staff were talking about it throughout the next few days which is always a good sign.”
